Fixing agents are cationic in nature and cotton and reactive dyes are anionic. The dyes which are located adjacent to the fiber but not bonded to it properly can be glued in place to the fiber by the addition of fixing agents. But as fixing agents get attached to the dyes structure they cause change of shade. JingenFX R-536 is designed in a way so that it can keep the shade change as minimum as possible at the same time providing good fixation of dyes.
